How we checked
Last checked October 17, 2026 against lichtfestival.stad.gent. Before anything appears here, a separate check fetches each source again and confirms that every date we show is in the quoted text.
Notes from the last check
The official site confirms the sixth edition ran in early 2024, says no date is yet known for the next one, and says it expects a new edition in 2027; the tourism board says the festival runs every three years and is free, but no 2027 dates were found on either site.
